This demonstration will provide you a better understanding of the new intranet structure and navigation as well as the exciting improvements. Our demonstration will be presented by Russ Pearlman, Vice President of Information Technology. .

The Updated NEST Experience - Oct 1st - Nov 21st 
In mid Fall Semester, the Nest will get a facelift. Join us for a Logon @ Lunch session to preview the changes for students, faculty, staff, and advisors. The new interface will be in place for Spring Semester registration and will include:
- Updated look and feel that allows for students to perform common tasks more intuitively.
- Role based navigation that allows performance of tasks based upon your role at Creighton.
- Greater accessibility for use across multiple devices including computer, tablet & mobile devices.
- Improved search experience for students to search and register for classes.

Bluejay Print Program Upgrades Coming April 2024

Microsoft Defender Junk Email Filtering System - Wednesday, April 12, 2023 - 12:00 p.m.
Join us for April’s Log On @ Lunch – Microsoft Defender Junk Email Filtering System. Brian Bautista, Division of Information Technology, will explain how to “train” your Outlook to capture junk emails and those emails that are not junk. He will also discuss how to send and receive encrypted emails.

Microsoft MFA Changes - Tuesday, February 7, 2023 - 12:00 p.m.
On February 27th, Microsoft will be making a key security upgrade to traditional second factor notifications within the Microsoft Authenticator App on mobile devices. Microsoft will discontinue the use of Push Notifications and replace it with Number Matching.
Brian Bautista, from Information Security, will be leading the session to explain the change and answer your questions.

BlueQ (Qualtrics) Basics - Wednesday, January 25, 2023 - 12:00 p.m.
This session will cover some basic Qualtrics skills for those users who are
interested in getting started with Qualtrics or those who would like to utilize more features and functions.
Other features that will be covered are: creating a new survey, updating an existing survey, adding collaborators, and distributing surveys. We will also cover using basic workflows to automate some survey processes.

To reduce costs and consolidate Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies across the university, the Division of IT will change MFA. Students, alumni, and retirees are currently using Microsoft Azure via the Microsoft Authenticator app. In this session the Information Security team will present the advantages of moving MFA and help you with that transition.

Start the summer out right with our first Log on @ Lunch session, Phone Photography, on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 (12-12:45pm CDT). It is open to all Creighton students, faculty, and staff. The session presenter, RaDLab Director, Kathy Craig commented, “It is often said that the best camera is the one that is with you. Many of us carry around our smart phones everywhere. These phones often have amazing cameras. That makes it easy for us to take photos anywhere.” During this presentation, Kathy will discuss:
